Keep Chechil refrigerated at about 38°F / 3°C. Each 8 oz pack is vacuum-sealed to help protect freshness for up to 3 months when kept refrigerated and unopened. After opening, keep it refrigerated and enjoy as soon as possible.
Chechil is made with pasteurized milk, vinegar, enzymes, and salt. The smoked version is smoked with hickory woodchips.
Fresh batches usually take 10–12 days. We ship cold Monday through Wednesday via UPS 2-Day to help avoid weekend delays. Orders placed after 5 PM on Wednesday usually ship the following week.
Orders are packed with insulated packaging and reusable ice packs to help protect freshness during delivery.
Unbraid it by hand, peel it into thin strands, and serve it as a pull-apart cheese snack. It is great for sharing, snacking, and building snack boards.
